Use the Room Configurations option in the External Exams Manager module to view and manage the layout of seats for each of the rooms used for exams. Layouts can then be linked to exams to create seating plans.
- Room configurations are not specific to exam cycles.
- Add more than one room configuration for any room in your school. This is useful for different exam situations.
- The buildings and classrooms available in this option are pulled in from the Estates Manager module.
Choose to:
- View an existing room configuration.
- Add a new room configuration.
- Edit an existing room configuration. This is useful if you want to change the layout of the room. This is only possible if a room has not been used in a seating plan.
- Archive or restore an existing room configuration.
- Delete an existing room configuration. This is only possible if a room has not been allocated as an exam location.
