Use the Templates option in the Applicant tab of the Admissions module to setup and manage the standard letters and e-mails you use throughout iSAMS. These templates can be used to send information to applicant contacts or to other schools.
The templates managed here are the same as the templates found in the Pupil Manager module.
Setup templates with properties to suit you:
- Categorise letter and e-mail templates according to whether they are for your own use or to be shared by all users. Separate tabs display your own and shared letter, e-mail and reference letter templates.
- Select the recipients of letters and e-mails; pupil contacts or other schools.
- Select whether letters are for general correspondence or are related to the Parent Portal. Parent Portal letters are sent to parents to help them activate their portal accounts. The Parent Portal is different to the Admissions Portal.
Choose to work with:
- Letter Templates:
- Add a new letter.
- Edit a letter.
- Export a letter. Use this to keep a backup copy of letters.
- Archive a letter. Use this for templates that are not currently used or are out of date.
- Delete a letter. You can only delete a letter that you have setup.
- E-mail Templates:
- Add an e-mail template.
- Archive an e-mail template. Use this for templates that are not currently used or are out of date.
- Edit an e-mail template.
- Delete an e-mail template.
- Reference Letters:
- Create a reference letter. Create reference request letters to send to an applicant's current school.
- Download a template.
- Archive a letter. Use this for templates that are not currently used or are out of date.
- Delete a letter.
