Use the Cycle Manager tab in the Reports Manager module to set up report cycles. Report cycles are the periods of time in which both assessments and full reports are written.
For example, set up a report cycle for each term or month. Create as many report cycles as you require, these can overlap if necessary.
Once report cycles have been set up, reports from different sources can be allocated to them. For example, allocate 'Subject Reports' and 'Form Tutor Reports' to the report cycle of 'Summer Reports'. This enables all the required reports to be written within the same cycle, making it easier to monitor the report writing process in your school.
Choose to:
- Create a report cycle. You must do this when you first start working with reports.
- Copy a report cycle. Copy an existing report cycle to reproduce a duplicate or similar of an original.
- Edit a report cycle. Edit the properties of a report cycle, if required.
- Delete a report cycle. Delete a report cycle if it has been set up in error.
- Activate or deactivate a report cycle. Only active cycles can be used for reporting.
- Manage the allocation of reports and templates in each report cycle.
- Manage the exclusion of selected pupils or groups of pupils from reports.
- Generate statistics from your chosen report cycle.
