In the Timetable Manager module set code warnings refer to the teaching set codes being imported into your timetable. Teaching set codes held in the timetable you are importing may not be recognised by iSAMS. This may occur when the Teaching Manager module or School Manager module do not hold codes for sets and forms which are consistent with those in your imported timetable. If you have more than 2 or 3 set code warnings listed it is recommended that you start the import process again.
Teaching set codes can be edited from the Timetable Manager module. This saves time having to amend timetable information in the Teaching Manager module or School Manager module.
To resolve set code warnings:
- Start the timetable import and continue to the Import Timetable - Version 2 screen:
- Select Resolve next to Set Code Warnings to resolve set code problems.
An example of the window displayed is shown below: - You have 4 options available to resolve the problem:
- Ignore. This will remove the set from the timetable. Use this if you know the set is no longer used.
- Create New Set. Use this to create a completely new teaching set.
- Create New Form. Use this to create a completely new teaching form.
- Replace the set code with an existing set code. All references to the previous code will be replaced with the set code selected. Use this when you know the teaching set code has been revised or when teaching sets have been merged.
- Once you have worked through the set code warnings listed, return to the Import Timetable - Version 2 screen.
