Use the Global API Management options in the API Services Manager to setup global settings for API keys. The settings used relate to access and security. Global settings are used by default when a new API key is setup and used.
Choose to setup global settings in the following areas:
- Server status. Setup the server status that your school uses. See Manage API Service Address.
- SSL. Force the use of an SSL connection to encrypt data that is requested from iSAMS. See Global SSL Settings.
- IP addresses. Limit access to iSAMS from selected IP addresses. See Global IP Restrictions.
- Domain names. Limit access to selected iSAMS domains. See Global Domain Restrictions.
- Throttling. Throttling prevents iSAMS being flooded with requests. See Global Throttling Settings.
