Manage Domain Restrictions in the API Services Manager to limit access to selected domains. This increases your security as only the named domains can be accessed with API keys.
Choose to:
- Create Global Domain Restrictions. This increases your security as only the named domains can be accessed.
- Edit Global Domain Restrictions. This ensures that access to iSAMS is kept up-to-date.
- Delete Global Domain Restrictions. Delete domain restrictions which are no longer required.
Create Global Domain Restrictions
Setup Domain Restrictions in the API Services Manager to limit access to selected domains. This increases your security as only the named domains can be accessed with API keys.
To setup Domain Restrictions, follow the steps below:
- In the iSAMS Control Panel Module select the API Services Manager applet.
- Select Manage API Service Security from the right hand menu.
The Manage API Service Security screen is displayed. - Select the Domain Restrictions tab. All domain names which can be accessed are listed here:
- Click Create Domain Entry. A popup window is displayed:
- In Domain Access choose to either:
- 'Allow Access' to the domain name you enter.
or - 'Deny Access' to the domain name you enter.
- 'Allow Access' to the domain name you enter.
- In Domain Name, enter the domain name you want the third party to be allowed or denied access to.
- Click Save & Close.
Your entry is displayed in the Domain Restrictions tab.
Edit Global Domain Restrictions
Edit Domain Restrictions in the API Services Manager, as required. This ensures that access to iSAMS is kept up-to-date.
To edit Domain Restrictions, follow the steps below:
- In the iSAMS Control Panel Module select the API Services Manager applet.
- Select Manage API Service Security from the right hand menu.
The Manage API Service Security screen is displayed. - Select the Domain Restrictions tab. All domain names which can be accessed are listed here:
- Click in your selected entry. A popup window is displayed:
- In Domain Access choose to either:
- 'Allow Access' to the domain name you enter.
or - 'Deny Access' to the domain name you enter.
- 'Allow Access' to the domain name you enter.
- In Domain Name, enter the domain name you want the third party to be allowed or denied access to.
- Click Save & Close.

- In the iSAMS Control Panel Module select the API Services Manager applet.
- Select Manage API Service Security from the right hand menu.
The Manage API Service Security screen is displayed. - Select the Domain Restrictions tab. All domain names which can be accessed are listed here:
- Click in your selected entry.
You are prompted Are you sure you want to delete this API Key Domain Restriction? - Select Yes.
The entry is removed.
