Use the Exam Results tab to add results for entrance exam papers in selected exam sessions. Exam results can be added to applicants who have been entered as entrance exam candidates and who have been entered for specified entrance exams. You can then edit and delete entrance exam results entries as required.
Choose to:
- View and add entrance exam results to an applicant record.
- Edit existing entrance exam results entries.
- Delete entrance exam results entries.
View and Add Results
You can only add entrance exam results to applicant records if:
To view and add entrance exam results, follow the steps below:
- In the Admissions module, select a records tab:
- Search and select an applicant record to work with and select Entrance Exams from the right hand menu.
- Select the Exam Results tab:
- Click Add Results. A popup window is displayed:
- Use the tabs available to choose how you wish to add exam results:
- Exam Search. Search for applicants by exam Session, Programme and Paper.
- Current Pupil Search. Search for current pupils by Year, Form and Academic House.
- Applicant Pupil Search. Search for applicants by Enrolment School Year and Enrolment Type.
- Academic Search. Search for applicants by Department, Subject and Set.
- Narrow your search using the filters available. The filters available differ depending on the tab you have selected.
- Check the box under the ABS column to select if the applicant was absent from the exam sitting.
- Specify a Grade or Mark for applicants you wish to add results for.
- Click Next.
The selected applicant results are saved and listed in the Exam Results tab.
Edit Existing Results Entries
Edit and update listed entrance exam results entries in an applicant record, as required.
To edit existing results entries, follow the steps below:
- In the Admissions module, select a records tab:
- Search and select an applicant record to work with and select Entrance Exams from the right hand menu.
- Select the Exam Results tab:
- Click by the entry you wish to edit.
A popup window is displayed: - Use the fields available to edit Pupil Results, as required.
- Click Update Pupil Exam when finished.
The amended results entry is listed in the Exam Results tab.
Delete Exam Results Entries
Delete entrance exam results entries, as required. Use this to remove results entries that have been created in error.
To delete exam results entries, follow the steps below:
- In the Admissions module, select a records tab:
- Search and select an applicant record to work with and select Entrance Exams from the right hand menu.
- Select the Exam Results tab:
- Click by the entry you wish to delete.
A popup window is displayed. You are prompted Are you sure you want to delete this result? - Select Yes. The selected entry is removed from the applicant record.
