Use categories and groups within your selected child activity module to list different activities and the groups of pupils within them. For example, in the child activity module 'Sport' add a category of 'Rugby' and list groups for 'U13A', 'U13B', etc. Pupils and staff are then added to each group.
All pupils who are to take part in your selected activity must be linked to an activity group. All groups must be listed under a category in the child activity module.
You may find it useful to create categories and groups which reflect the Sections created for subgroups.
Use the Group View tab in your selected group activity module to:
- Manage activity categories.
- Manage activity groups.
- Email or text pupils (or pupil contacts) from activity groups.
- Add pupils to an activity group.
- Export lists of activity groups. This is useful if you want to distribute group information to users with no access to child activity modules.
- Import lists of activity groups. Import files containing group details if these are held outside of iSAMS.
- Manage activity schedules. Schedule training sessions, etc into the timetable.
- Take an activity register.
