Use the Cover Status tab to review the properties of the Cover Manager module. For your convenience, you can arrange cover, review arrangements and produce reports from the Cover Status tab. These functions are also available elsewhere in the module.
A number of options are available in the right hand menu for you to work with:

Viewing Current Cover Status
Use the Current Cover Status option to see details of Cover Manager module properties. Also use this option to view publication details of cover arrangements and see an statistical overview of the module.

A number of sections are available in the option for you to review:
Section | Explanation |
Cover Information | The current version number of the module is displayed. Quote the version number if you need to contact the Help Desk regarding the Cover Manager module. The most recently used cover cycle is selected as the current cover cycle. If you are using the Cover Manager module for the first time, the cover cycle which includes today's date is selected as the current cover cycle. |
Timetable Information | Details of the timetable which requires cover. This is the current published timetable in the Timetable Manager module. |
Publication Options | Icons indicate where cover arrangements are published, and therefore can be viewed from. Published cover arrangements are shown on timetables viewed through the Wizard Bar. |
Cover Statistical Overview | View a basic statistical count of cover information. |
Top 5 Absent Teachers | This is a useful 'at-a-glance' statistics on absent teachers. A count of cover periods is shown, scroll through the pages available to see more statistics. |
Top 5 Cover Teachers | This is a useful 'at-a-glance' statistics on teachers covering lessons. A count of cover periods is shown, scroll through the pages available to see more statistics. |
