Use the Logging tab in the Timetable Manager module to view any amendments that have been made in the module. This provides a useful audit trail helping you to track changes that have been made to different parts of the module. Timetables, periods and lessons are identified with unique reference numbers to make it easy to follow the audit trail.
When you first open the Logging tab, the Logging Status screen is displayed:
The Logging Status screen indicates the current status of the iSAMS server and provides an overview of amendments which have been made to the module:
Section | Explanation |
Current Server Status | The status of the iSAMS server is indicated here. |
Logging Section Overview | A breakdown of the number of amendments to different parts of the module is displayed. This is useful to see where changes have been made to your timetables.

| Logging Type Overview | A breakdown of the type changes that have been made to timetables. This refers to both the structure of timetables (periods, days, etc) or the items listed in the timetable (meetings, lessons, etc):

Timetable Audit | The most recent amendments to the module are listed. This is useful for an 'at-a-glance' audit. |
Use the right hand audit menu to see more detailed audit information. Each audit listed details amendments to a different part of the module:
- Timetable Logging. Lists amendments made to the content of your timetables.
- Structure Logging. Lists amendments made to both the structure and the prep options of your timetable.
- Publishing & Tools Logging. Lists a selection of amendments made to the publication details of your timetables.
- Module Logging. Lists amendments made in the different tabs available in the module.
The Configuration tab keeps a log of e-mails sent from the Timetable Manager module.
