Use the Manage Campaign Types option in the Marketing tab to view and manage marketing campaign types. Campaign types are used to specify the marketing strategies used by your school, such as 'Advertisements'.
- You must set up campaign types before adding a marketing campaign.
- This option is also available in the Configuration tab.
Campaign types are held in a parent and type directory:
- Primary (parent). These are used to classify specific campaign types, such as 'Advertisements'.
- Secondary (child). Under a primary campaign type of 'Advertisements' you can list secondary campaign types of 'Newspaper', 'Website', 'Magazine', 'Sponsorship', etc. These secondary campaign types act as templates, once setup you can use them as a basis for marketing campaigns.
