Use the Manage Campaign Types option in the Marketing tab. to view, add and manage secondary campaign types. Secondary campaign types are listed under primary campaign types in a parent and child directory. Secondary campaign types act as templates when you add a marketing campaign.
Choose to:
- Add a secondary campaign type.
- Arrange secondary campaign types.
- Edit a secondary campaign type.
- Delete a secondary campaign type.
Add a Secondary Campaign Type
To add a secondary campaign type, follow the steps below:
- In the Admissions module, select the Marketing tab.
- Select Manage Campaign Types from the menu to the right of the screen:
- Click next to the primary campaign type you wish your secondary campaign type to be listed under.
A popup window is displayed: - Specify a clear and concise Secondary Type Name.
- In the Secondary Type Code field, specify a unique abbreviation for the campaign type.
- Use the drop down list to select the Secondary Type Active. Select 'Yes' to ensure the campaign type can be selected within the module.
- Click Save & Close when finished.
The Campaign Type is listed in the Manage Campaign Types screen. - You can now add a marketing campaign.
Arrange Secondary Campaign Types
Change the order of secondary campaign types. Use this to sort the campaign types displayed across the Admissions module.
To arrange the secondary campaign types, follow the steps below:
- In the Admissions module, select the Marketing tab.
- Select Manage Campaign Types from the menu to the right of the screen:
- Click within the primary campaign type for the secondary campaign type you wish to rearrange. This option is only available when more than one secondary campaign type is listed under the primary campaign type.
A popup window is displayed: - Click on the campaign type you wish to reorder.
- Use the arrows to change the campaign type's position.
- Click Save & Close when finished.
Edit Secondary Campaign Types
Edit a secondary campaign type as required. This is useful for changing the name and code of the campaign type. You can also use this to set a campaign type as 'Active'; this allows you to select the campaign type when adding a new marketing campaign.
To edit a secondary campaign type, follow the steps below:
- In the Admissions module, select the Marketing tab.
- Select Manage Campaign Types from the menu to the right of the screen:
- Click by the secondary campaign type you wish to edit.
A popup window is displayed: - Specify a clear and concise Secondary Type Name.
- In the Secondary Type Code field, specify a unique abbreviation for the campaign type.
- Use the drop down list to select the Secondary Type Active. Select 'Yes' to ensure the campaign type can be selected within the module.
- Click Save & Close when finished.
The updated Campaign Type is listed in the Manage Campaign Types screen.
Delete Secondary Campaign Types
Delete secondary campaign types as required. Use this to remove secondary campaign types that you have created in error.
To delete a secondary campaign type, follow the steps below:
- In the Admissions module, select the Marketing tab.
- Select Manage Campaign Types from the menu to the right of the screen:
- Click by the secondary campaign type you wish to delete.
A popup window is displayed. You are prompted Are you sure you want to delete this campaign type? - Make the appropriate selection.
The selected campaign type is removed from the list in the Manage Campaign Types screen.
