Use the Notification Messages options in the Mobile & Tablet Manager to view a log of notifications that have been compiled.
Three options are available:
- View Outbound Messages. All compiled messages are listed here. This is useful for checking if messages have been sent.
- View Saved Messages. These are currently still in development.
- View Scheduled Messages. These are currently still in development.
To view a log of push notifications:
- Either:
- Open the iSAMS Control Panel and select the Mobile & Tablet Manager applet.
or - Select Mobile & Tablet Manager from the module bar if the applet has been configured to display here.
- Open the iSAMS Control Panel and select the Mobile & Tablet Manager applet.
Open the Notifications tab and select one of the Notification Messages options from the right hand menu. Your selected option is displayed. View Outbound Messages is shown in this example:
All of the notifications for the selected option are listed.
View Outbound Messages has a number of tabs to work with. All notifications are shown within these tabs:Tab All notifications which... Queued Require authorisation before they are sent. It is possible to delete queued notifications before they are sent. Sending Batches of notification messages which are due to be sent are listed here. This feature is still in development. Sent Have been sent. Broadcast Marked with a Send Type of 'Broadcast'. Personal Marked with a Send Type of 'Personal'. This feature is still in development. Automated These are currently still in development. Rich Push These are currently still in development. Simple Push Have been compiled as Simple Push Messages. All Have been compiled. It is possible to delete queued notifications before they are sent. Click to see further details for each notification, such as who the message was sent to:
Four tabs are available displaying details for the notification:
Tab Shows... Message Details A unique message identity number, when the message was sent, and who sent and authorised the message. Channels The channels that the message was sent through. Subscribers The users who have subscribed to receive notifications from the channels shown. Devices The user devices which have received the notification. - Click to delete a queued message if it has been compiled in error.
