Using My Calendar

My Calendar provides a day by day view of events in your school's calendar. Choose to view the school calendar in Your Desktop.

1. Click View My Calendar in Your Desktop:
   My Calendar is displayed for today's date by default along with the number of events in the calendar:
   
2. Use the scroll to the right of the window to move around My Calendar.
3. Maximise My Calendar by using Hiding Your Desktop Components and Customising Your Desktop View.

4. Use the options available to view the information that you need:

   Options	Used to...
   	Filter My Calendar using the drop down list of calendars available. Use Preferences to set your Default Calendars to display. See Changing Calendar Preferences for more information.
   	Filter My Calendar using the drop down list of categories available.
   	Filter My Calendar using the drop down list of subcategories available.
   	Either: Scroll to the previous day or the next day using the arrows provided.  or Click on the calendar icon to select a date from the popup calendar.

5. Use the header bar fields to help you understand the information displayed (the information may differ from the example shown depending on your Preferences):

   Field	Explanation
   Event	Description of the calendar event, alongside a category icon. Click on the event to view more detail in a popup window, including the staff associated with the event.
   Location	The location of the calendar event.
   Category	The category assigned to an event.
   Start	The start time of the event.
   End	The end time of the event.
