The Current SMS Gateway Status screen provides an overview of current activity in the SMS Gateway applet.
To view the screen:
- Select the iSAMS Control Panel from the left hand menu.
- Select the SMS Gateway listed within the applets available. The Current SMS Gateway Status screen is the first screen to display:
Use the sections in this screen to review activity in the applet:
Section Explanation SMS Gateway Usage All outbound and inbound SMS messages are shown here in graph form. SMS Gateway Costs Shows a breakdown of costs for SMS messages sent by day, month, year and a running total. The cost of messages depends on the gateway package you have purchased from iSAMS. SMS Gateway Credits Shows a breakdown of the credits for SMS messages. Credits can be a clearer indication of usage than cost. Gateway packages include bundles of credits. Each credit limits the size of an SMS message to 140 characters (messages than exceed this limit are spread across more than one message). So a message of 150 characters is sent as a single message but uses two credits. Outbound SMS Configuration Icons indicate whether the service is in use:
= In use.

Inbound SMS Configuration Icons indicate whether the service is in use:

Outbound SMS Totals Shows a breakdown of the number of SMS messages sent from iSAMS by day, month, year and a running total.

Inbound SMS Totals Shows a breakdown of the number of SMS messages received by iSAMS by day, month, year and a running total.

Outbound Providers Lists the outbound SMS message provider and an overview of usage.

User Usage Lists the users sending SMS messages most frequently from iSAMS.

Module Usage Lists the modules most frequently used to send SMS messages from iSAMS.

Reload Status Click to refresh the data shown in this screen.
