Web Previewing Services

Use the Web Previewing Services applet in Control Panel to review and manage e-mail and web page previews within iSAMS. A number of options are available to you in the right hand menu:

Option Category	Option/Explanation
Web Previewing Overview	Web Previewing Status. Review the status of e-mail and web page previews, view previewing service information and check the last 5 preview runs created from iSAMS.
E-Mail Preview Options	Manage E-Mail Previews. This option is not currently in use. Manage Preview Applications. Manage the platforms and devices that can preview e-mails sent from iSAMS. Check running times and default settings. Manage E-Mail Preview Options. This option is not currently in use.
Web Page Preview Options	Manage Web Page Previews. Create and manage custom recipient groups for e-mails sent from the Contact Students' Teachers wizard. Manage Preview Applications. Manage the platforms and devices that can preview web pages created from iSAMS. Check running times and default settings. Manage Web Page Options. This option is not currently in use.
Previewing Management	Manage Application Platforms. See a count of applications that can view previews sent from iSAMS. Application counts are sorted by the platform that they run on.

Web Previewing Status

The Web Previewing Status option displays an overview of the preview service settings within iSAMS. Review the status of e-mail and web page previews, view previewing service information and check the last 5 preview runs created from iSAMS. You can also refresh the status of the preview services. Use this option for troubleshooting the previewing services that run in iSAMS.

To view the status of preview services, follow the steps below:

1. Select the Web Previewing Services applet from Control Panel.
   The Web Previewing Status screen is displayed first when you select Web Previewing Services. An example of the Web Previewing Status screen is shown below:
   
2. Use the information in the Web Previewing Status screen to analyse the current running of e-mail and web page previewing services in iSAMS.
3. Click Reload Status to refresh the information displayed.
