Use the options listed under Message Configuration to configure and send SMS messages directly from the SMS Gateway applet.
To open Message Configuration:
- Select the iSAMS Control Panel from the left hand menu.
- Select the SMS Gateway listed within the applets available.
- Three Message Configuration options are available in the right hand menu:
- Send an SMS Message. Send an SMS message directly from the SMS Gateway applet.
- SMS Message Defaults. Set defaults for SMS messages sent from the wizard bar and other iSAMS modules.
- Manage SMS Templates. This function is not currently in use.
- Emergency Broadcast Settings. Emergency broadcasts provide a quick way of sending messages to multiple users in an emergency, such as an evacuation. Configure emergency broadcast settings, send emergency broadcasts and view a history of emergency broadcasts.
