Use the Forms tab in the School Manager module to add and edit forms within school year groups. Use this when setting up iSAMS to match your school structure:
- In the School Manager module, select the Forms tab:

Choose to:
Add a school form.Add details of school forms and assign them to school years. Add as many forms as you require, linking a different teacher to each form.
- Select Create Form from the header bar to display this popup window:

Complete the fields in the window:
Section Explanation Core Information Form Name. Enter the form's name.
Form Room. Use the drop down list to select the classroom used for general form activities, such as registration.
Form Tutor. Use the drop down list to link a teacher to the form.
Asst Form Tutor. Use the drop down list to link a teaching assistant to the form, if required.
Asst Form Tutor 2. Use the drop down list to link an additional teaching assistant to the form, if required.
Form Year. Use the drop down list to select the year group that pupils belong to.
Optional Information Enter a contact Email Address and Website Address, as required. This is optional and details are listed for information only.
Click Save Option.
The form is listed under the selected Year Group in the Forms tab. You can now select the form in associated fields throughout iSAMS.
- You are now ready to add pupils to the form.
Edit a school form.Edit the forms listed, for example change the teacher linked to each form.

by the form you wish to edit to display this popup window:
Amend the fields in the window:

Click Save Option when finished.
The updated form is listed under the selected Year Group in the Forms tab. You can now select the form in associated fields throughout iSAMS.
Delete a school form.Remove forms that no longer exist or are no longer in use.
For example, you can remove school forms during changes in school structures. Delete obsolete school forms to ensure that school data is up-to-date.
Deleting school forms is permanent and cannot be undone. Deleting forms can cause information loss in associated personnel records and timetables. It is recommended that you only delete school forms that are not in use in iSAMS.
- Click
next to the form you wish to delete.
A popup window is displayed. You are prompted Are you sure you want to delete this Form? - Click OK.
The form is permanently removed from iSAMS.
