Manage Banned Devices (App Devices) > Delete a Banned Device (App Devices)

Delete a banned device in the Manage Banned Devices screen. This is useful for disassociating a device from a user account, for example if they no longer wish to use iSAMS with the device. This resets the mobile app on their device, as if the user is logging into the app for the first time. Delete a device to remove the device's information from the iSAMS system.

To delete a banned device, follow the steps below:

1. Select the Mobile & Tablet Manager applet from iSAMS Control Panel.
2. Select an app tab at the top of the screen:
   
3. Select the  Manage Banned Devices option from the menu to the right of the screen:
   
   The Manage Banned Devices screen is displayed:
   
4. Click  next to the device you wish to remove. A popup window is displayed. You are prompted Are you sure you want to delete this device?
5. Click Yes to delete the device from the list.

A log of deleted devices is kept in the Mobile & Tablet App Audit.
