Use the Invoice Generation tab in the Fees Billing module to publish pupil invoices to billing contacts via the Parent Portal.
- Fees Billing must be configured to enable invoices to be published to the Parent Portal for this function to operate as expected.
- Billing contacts will only ever see their own invoices in the Parent Portal.
Choose to:
- After generating the invoice run, click Publish To Portal in the Invoice Publishing tab:

Step 1 of the Publish To Portal wizard opens:
- Select Send Full Invoice Run and click Next to display step 2 of the wizard:

- Two tabs are displayed in step 2 of the wizard:
- Contacts requiring Invoices on Portal. These are billing contacts who have been marked to receive invoices via the Parent Portal.
- Contacts not requiring Invoices on Portal. These billing contacts have not been marked to receive invoices via the Parent Portal.
- Select the Contacts requiring Invoices on Portal tab and review the contacts listed:
- Click
in each contact to view the Edit Billing Details window:
- Select the Invoice Preferences tab, uncheck Invoices on Parent Portal if you do not want the contact to view their invoice on the Parent Portal.
- Click Save and Close. Your selections are saved for future invoice runs.
- Click
- Select the Contacts not requiring Invoices on Portal tab to update contacts:

- Use the filters to search for a billing contact to work with (this is useful if you have a hugh number of contacts listed):
- Enter a search term in your selected field.
- Click
and select how the filter should be applied to the list of contacts.
- Click
in each contact to view the Edit Billing Details window:
- Select the Invoice Preferences tab, check Invoices on Parent Portal to view the invoice on the Parent Portal.
- Click Save and Close. Your selections are saved for future invoice runs and are now displayed in the Contacts requiring Invoices on Portal tab.
- Use the checkboxes to select the contacts who are to receive invoices via the Parent Portal.
- Click Next to display step 3 of the wizard:

- Click Finish and click OK in the popup window to confirm the action.
The invoices are published to the Parent Portal. All invoices published to the Parent Portal are listed in the Portal History option.

- After generating the 'Amended Invoices Only' invoice run, click Publish By Portal in the Invoice Publishing tab:

This is useful if an invoice has been published in error or amendments need to be made before it is published.
- After generating the invoice run, click Publish To Portal in the Invoice Publishing tab:

- Step 1 of the Publish To Portal wizard opens:

- Select the Withdraw Invoices From Portal and click Next to display step 2 of the wizard:

- Use the checkboxes to select the invoices that you want to withdraw from the Parent Portal.
- Click Next to display step 3 of the wizard:

- Click Finish and click OK in the popup window to confirm the action.
All invoices withdrawn from the Parent Portal are listed in the Portal History option.
