Use the Results File History option in the External Exams Manager module to resolve any unassigned exam results once the exam results file has been imported. This saves having to enter results manually.
Unassigned exam results can occur when a candidate has more than one candidate UCI number; candidates may have been assigned a UCI number by their previous school.
To assign results:
- Open the External Exams Manager module and select the Results tab.
Select Results File History from the right hand menu to display this screen:
- Scroll to the file that you want to work with and click to display the Resolve Results File window:
Unassigned results are listed. - Check the results that you want to assign. Unassigned results with the same candidate details are also automatically selected. Results for other candidates are greyed out.
- Either:
- Suggested candidates are displayed in the bottom right of the window. This happens if a candidate number and UCI is shown in unassigned results and is recognised by iSAMS.
or - Enter a candidate surname into the Pupil box and select a candidate from the list displayed.
- Suggested candidates are displayed in the bottom right of the window. This happens if a candidate number and UCI is shown in unassigned results and is recognised by iSAMS.
- Click Assign Results.
You are prompted Are you sure all selections are correct? - Click OK. The results are assigned:
- Click Finish to close the window.
The figures listed in the Results and the Accepted columns in the Results File History screen should now match for the select exam results file.
