Use the Configuration tab in the Registration module to set up the display for the registration notes bar in the school register. Registration notes are messages for one or more students in a registration, such as reminding students of a sports squad session:
- Open the Registration module and select the Configuration tab.
- Select Notes Settings from the right hand menu to display this screen:

Notes Settings
- Allow Registration Notes. Use the drop down list to select whether the registration notes bar is displayed in the school register. Selecting 'No' here means that the registration notes have to be accessed from the Notes tab.
- Flash Notifications. Use the drop down list to select how many times the registration notes bar flashes when you first open the school register. Choosing the bar to flash will bring the users attention to it.
Notes Notification Codes
These settings refer to the colours used in the registration notes bar. Selecting a bright colour combination highlights the bar, when it is available.
- Background. Click on the colour box to select an alternative background colour for the bar
- Border. Click on the colour box to select an alternative border colour for the bar.
- Text. Click on the colour box to select an alternative text colour for the bar.
When the details are as required, click Save Settings.
Use the Reload Settings button to cancel any changes you have made to these settings, i.e. reset the values as they were when you first accessed this form. The Reload Settings button only cancels changes if you have not already saved them.
