Use the Inbound SMS Configuration option in the SMS Gateway to set up the inbound message functionality in the applet. This allows parents to reply to the SMS messages that they receive via iSAMS.
To configure inbound SMS messages:
- Select the iSAMS Control Panel from the left hand menu.
- Select the SMS Gateway listed within the applets available.
- Select Inbound SMS Configuration from the right hand menu to display this screen:
- Select 'Yes' in Enable Inbound SMS to turn the function on.
- Ensure that the URL displayed in the Inbound SMS Debug section matches the URL that you are currently using. This ensures that the system knows where to send inbound messages. Contact the HelpDesk if there is a difference in the URL listed.
- Click Save Configuration.
- Now add a virtual number.
