All iSAMS users are linked to an SMS security group. Each group controls how user messages are sent from iSAMS. All security groups are listed in SMS Group Management.
If you need to delete a security group any users linked to the deleted group have messaging privileges governed by the next security group they are linked to in the list.
SMS security groups work in a top down method, filtering through the groups listed in SMS Group Management.
To delete an SMS security group:
- Select the iSAMS Control Panel from the left hand menu.
- Select the SMS Gateway listed within the applets available.
- Select SMS Group Management from the right hand menu to display this screen:

in your selected security group.
You are prompted Are you sure you want to delete this security group? - Select Yes.
The security group is removed.
