Setting Up The Years Tab

Use the School Setup tab in the School Manager module to activate the Years tab ready for use in the module. You must activate the Years tab to display and configure year group information in the School Manager module. You can also choose to change the terminology used to describe school year groups in iSAMS.

1. In the School Manager module, select the School Setup tab.
   The School Setup screen is displayed.
2. Select the Years tab:
   
3. Complete the fields displayed:
   

   Section	Fields
   School Year Object	Use School Years. Select 'Yes' from the drop-down list to activate the Years tab.
   School Year Terminology	Singular Year Term. Plural Year Term. Enter the singular and plural terms you wish to represent year groups in iSAMS.

4. Either:

    or

  • Click Reload Setup to revert to previously saved settings.
