When working in My Network Space, right-clicking on folders and files displays a context menu. The options on this menu provide quick access to most common tasks.
When you right-click on a folder in the Tree Panel, a menu is displayed offering the following options:
Button | Used to ... |
New Folder... | Create a sub-folder off the folder. |
New Document | Create a new document in the folder. You can choose to create a Word document, Excel Spreadsheet or PowerPoint presentation. |
Upload File(s)... | Upload a file held on your local computer to My Network Space. |
Open Folder in File Manager | Open the folder in your default File Manager, for example Windows Explorer. You can then use your File Manager to work with the files in the folder, in the same way that you might with files on your local computer. For example, you can drag files from the folder to your local computer, drag files from your local computer to this folder, re-arrange the files and folders in My Network Space, and so on. |
Copy | Copy the folder to your My Network Space clipboard. When you paste the folder to a new location, it remains intact in the initial location as well. |
Cut | Cut the folder to your My Network Space clipboard. When you paste the folder to a new location, it is deleted from the initial location. |
Paste | Paste the folder on your My Network Space clipboard (assigned to the clipboard using Copy or Cut) to the folder currently highlighted. |
Refresh | Refresh the display, to reflect details of any items that have been added, removed or changed. |
Rename... | Change the name of the folder. |
Delete | Delete the folder and its contents. |
