Delete an unregistered device in the Manage Unregistered Devices screen. This is useful for disassociating a device from a user account, for example if they no longer wish to use iSAMS with the device.
Deleting an unregistered device resets the mobile app on a device, as if the user is logging into the app for the first time. Delete a device to remove the device's information from the iSAMS system.
To delete an unregistered device, follow the steps below:
- Select the Mobile & Tablet Manager applet from iSAMS Control Panel.
The Current Status screen is usually displayed first when you select Mobile & Tablet Manager. - Select the Configuration tab at the top of the screen.
- Select the Manage Unregistered Devices option from the menu to the right of the screen:
The Manage Unregistered Devices screen is displayed: - Click next to the device you wish to remove.
A popup window is displayed. You are prompted Are you sure you want to delete this device? - Click Yes to delete the device from the list.
A log of deleted devices is kept in the Mobile & Tablet App Audit.
