Use the Totals Matrix option in the External Exams Manager module to run a matrix report showing a breakdown of final grades and number of candidates achieving each grade.

To run the totals matrix:
- Open the External Exams Manager module and select the Results tab.
Select Totals Matrix from the right hand menu to display the Totals Matrix Options window:
- Select the Options tab and work through the sections displayed:
- Select the Exam Cycle that you want to report on.
- Use the Pupil Filters section to select the year group that you want to include in the report. This is optional.
- In the Qualification Filters section choose to report on a selected Qualification and Level of qualification. This is optional.
- Select the Abbreviations tab and edit the display names of each option listed. This is useful for showing clear and concise option names instead of option codes in the matrix. This is optional. Any changes that you make are saved across all exam cycles.
- Click Create Matrix, an example of the report is shown below:
- Click Enable Editing in the spreadsheet to view calculations and add further columns.
