Use the buttons available in the Re-Install Module option to delete or reset part or all of the Cover Manager module. You may want to use some of these at the start of the academic year and begin the year with completely new settings. These options must be used with caution as they cause permanent changes to the module.

The sections and buttons available are explained in the table below:
Section | Explanation |
Data Options | Import Default Cover Slip Messages. Use this to re-install default cover slip messages for the different formats and recipients listed in Cover Slip Messages. Your own cover slip messages are not deleted but their default status is removed and listed against the re-installed default messages. Import demo Data. This button is not currently available. |
Module Options | Reset Cover Rota Options. Use this to re-install the all default settings for Teacher Cover Rota Options in the Manage Cover tab. Reset Cover Key. Use to re-install the Cover Key default style sheet. Cover Key listed in the Configuration tab under Cover Styling Options. Reset Cover Timetable. Use to re-install the default style sheets for Timetable Header Options and Timetable Footer Options. These hold the styling for the Master Cover Timetable displayed throughout the Cover Manager module. Re-Populate Files. Use as a shortcut to re-install all the options available in this section at the same time. |
Install Options | Re-Run Install Routine. Use as a shortcut to re-install all the sections above at the same time. Re-Install Module. Use this button with caution. Re-installing the module resets all information held in the Cover Manager module to day one. All customised settings are removed from the module. |
To use Re-Install Module buttons, follow the steps below:
- Open the Cover Manager and select the Configuration tab.
- Select Re-Install Module from the right hand menu.
- Select a button to re-install part or all of the module.
You are prompted before confirming your selection. For example, select Reset Cover T/T and you are prompted Are you sure you want to reset the cover timetable files? - Click Yes to confirm your selection.
Your changes are displayed in the module.
