Each time an API key is used it is counted and the details logged in the API Services Manager. Use Install & Reset Options to reset some or all of the key counts and request logs in the applet.
It is useful to use the reset options once a third party has completed their development work. Too much logging information could reduce the performance of iSAMS.
To reset options, follow the steps below:
- In the iSAMS Control Panel Module, select the API Services Manager applet.
- Select API Install & Reset Option from the right hand menu.
The API Install & Reset Options screen is displayed: Select a button to reset or clear part or all of the module. The buttons available are explained in the table below:

Reset Counts
Reset the counter to zero for the selected type of API key.
Clear Logs
Clear the key logs for the selected type of API key.
Re-Install Applet
Clear all counts and logs throughout the applet.
Depending on the button you have selected, you are prompted Are you sure you want to reset the key counts/reset key logs/re-install this applet?
Select Yes.
The applet is updated.
