Use Timetable Terminology option in the Timetable Manager module to set up the terminology used throughout the module. For example, change 'tutorial' to 'seminar' if you prefer.
- Open the Timetable Manager module and select the Configuration tab:
- Select Timetable Terminology from the right hand menu:
- A number of terms are available for you to change. Follow the example below to change terminology, as required:
- Click in the field you want to change and type in the alternative terminology you want to use. Keep the terms consistent, for example in this case TUT, Tutorial and Tutorials has been changed to SEM, Seminar and Seminars:

- Either:
- Click Save Terminology to save the changes you have made.
or - Click Reload Terminology to reset terminology to the last saved terms.
- Click Save Terminology to save the changes you have made.
- You are now ready to Create a School Timetable.
