Setting Up The Year Blocks Tab

Use the School Setup tab in the School Manager module to activate the Year Blocks tab ready for use in the module.  You must activate the Year Blocks tab to display and configure year block information in the School Manager module. You can also choose to change the terminology used to describe school year blocks in iSAMS.

1. In the School Manager module, select the School Setup tab.
   The School Setup screen is displayed.
2. Select the Year Blocks tab:
   

3. Complete the fields displayed:

   Section	Fields
   Year Block Object	Use School Blocks. Select 'Yes' from the drop-down list to activate the Year Blocks tab.
   Year Block Terminology	Singular Year Term. Plural Year Term. Enter the singular and plural terms you wish to represent year blocks in iSAMS.

4. Either:

   • Click Save Setup when finished.
     or

   • Click Reload Setup to revert to previously saved settings.
