Using the Information & News Options > Setting Up the School Directory

Use the Features tab in the Pupil Portal Manager module to display a school directory in the Pupil Portal:

This lets pupils view lists of other pupils, teaching staff and departments. Pupils can then use the school directory information to contact individuals directly via e-mail message.

To set up the school directory in the Pupil Portal, follow the steps below:

1. In the Pupil Portal Manager module, select the Features tab.
2. Select  School Directory Options from the right hand menu.
   The School Directory E-Mail Options screen is displayed:
   
3. In the School Directory Status field, select 'Open' from the drop down list to allow pupils to search for and view school contact details in the Pupil Portal.
4. Click Save Options when finished.
