Use the Internal Exams Options screen in the Features tab to allow parents to view their children's internal school exam records, such as entrance exam results, in the Parent Portal. Parents can view a list of exam programmes and papers that their children have been entered for and the results of past internal school exams. You can also use this option to select the year groups of pupils that you wish to share exam records with.
When this feature is enabled, internal school exam records are displayed in the 'Internal Exams' screen under the 'School Profile' menu in the Parent Portal. School exam information, such as registered papers and results, for all pupils linked to the Parent Portal account can be accessed from this screen. Exam programmes and papers are listed by their associated exam cycles in the Parent Portal. The internal exam information listed in the Parent Portal is closely linked with the Internal Exams Manager module.
To display and configure internal exam records available in the Parent Portal, follow the steps below:
- In the Parent Portal Manager module, select the Features tab.
- Select
Internal Exams Options from the right hand menu. The Internal Exams Options screen is displayed:
- Use the fields available to set up discipline record features in the Parent Portal:
- Internal Exams Status. Select 'Open' to enable parents to view their children's internal exam records from the 'Internal Exams' screen in the Parent Portal.
- Available Years. Select the year groups of pupils who you wish to display internal exam records for in the Parent Portal. Exam records for each pupil are shared with their parents in the Parent Portal. Hold Ctrl to make multiple selections, as required.
- Either:
- Click Save Options when finished.
or - Click Reload Options to revert to previously saved settings.
- Click Save Options when finished.
