Control User Access to Notification Channels

Mobile app users can subscribe to notification channels to ensure that they receive notifications which are relevant to them. A number of channels are inbuilt in iSAMS, you can select individual users to have access to channels through selected apps.

To control user access to channels:

1. Either:
   • Open the iSAMS Control Panel and select the Mobile & Tablet Manager applet.
     or
   • Select Mobile & Tablet Manager from the module bar if the applet has been configured to display here.

2. Open the Notifications tab and select any of the four options listed under Notifications Channels in the right hand menu:

   

3. Click  in your selected channel to display a popup window:
   

4. Select an app tab (the tabs available depend on your selections in the Channel Apps tab).

5. Use the checkboxes to select the current users who can access the app.

6. Click Save & Close.
   The channel is listed in the Notification Channels options and (if enabled and active) the selected users can will now receive push notifications from the channel.
