Edit a Custom Push Template

Use the Custom Push Templates option in the Mobile & Tablet Manager to edit templates for notification messages. Templates can be selected for use when compiling simple push notifications.

To edit a custom push template:

1. Either:
   • Open the iSAMS Control Panel and select the Mobile & Tablet Manager applet.
     or
   • Select Mobile & Tablet Manager from the module bar if the applet has been configured to display here.

2. Open the Notifications tab and select Custom Push Templates from the right hand menu.
   The Custom Push Templates screen is displayed with templates listed on the left.

3. Select the template that you want to edit and click Edit Custom Push Template:

4. Select the module that the template applies to. This helps to categorise templates in the Custom Push Templates screen.
   A Template Id is created for you.
5. Enter a clear and concise Template Name. This is displayed when you want to select to use the template.
6. Use the free text section to create your template. System Fields can be selected from the drop down list as required.
7. Click Save & Close.
   The template is listed in the Custom Push Templates screen and can now be selected when compiling simple push notifications.
