Use Disk Management in Control Panel to manage the location of directories in iSAMS. Default locations are set up for you by iSAMS during installation. You do not usually need to change these locations.

To edit directory locations, follow the steps below:
- Select the Disk Management applet from Control Panel. The Disk Management screen is displayed.
- Use the Virtual Directories section to specify a common storage location for data. This is necessary for data with multiple users.
Virtual Directories must be respecified if you change servers. The fields available in the Virtual Directories section are explained below:- Virtual Files Store. Holds files related to users e.g. parents, teachers, staff.
- Virtual Content Store. Holds content uploaded to iSAMS, such as images.
- Use the Absolute Directories section to specify physical paths to your data storage locations.
The stores are usually hosted on your server. The fields available in the Absolute Directories section are explained below:- Absolute Secure Store. The location of the folder holding iSAMS files on your server.
- Absolute Content Store. The location of the folder holding iSAMS content on your server.
- Click Save Settings when you are finished. Click Reload Settings to revert to previously saved settings.
