Use the Test Harnesses applet in Control Panel to check that component software, such as Excel, used within iSAMS is working correctly. You can check the status of server or iSAMS components from the options in the menu to the right of the screen:

Check the Server Component Harness screen if there are issues with services, running from your server, linked to iSAMS. The status of system components are listed.
Check the Software Component Harness screen if you are unable to view items in your selected format within iSAMS. The status of integration components are listed.
Components may not work with iSAMS if they are:
- Uninstalled from iSAMS.
- Unregistered for use with iSAMS.
- Are not present.
Contact the Help Desk if any of the components are listed as not installed or not working correctly.
