Use the Error Handling options whilst auditing the Digital Signage Manager to view and identify digital signage errors in either the:
- Server, such as ASP errors.
or - Set-top box (STB) clients, such as Javascript errors.
You can also print off a list of errors and delete all errors relating to server and STB clients.
Server Engine Errors
Use the Server Engine Errors option when auditing Digital Signage Manager to view, print or clear errors relating to the server engine for the Digital Signage Manager.
To access server engine errors, follow the steps below:
- Select the Audit Viewer applet from Control Panel.
- Select the Digital Signage Manager module using the drop-down menu in the top right of the screen:
- Select Server Engine Errors from the options menu on the right side of the screen.
An example of the Server Engine Errors screen is displayed below: - Either:
- Click Delete All Errors to remove all entries from the list. You may need to remove entries when they have been resolved or to clear space in the list.
or - Click to print a hard copy of errors.

STB Client Errors
Use the STB Client Errors option when auditing Digital Signage Manager to view, print or clear errors relating to STB (set-top box) clients for the Digital Signage Manager.
To access STB client errors, follow the steps below:
- Select the Audit Viewer applet in iSAMS Control Panel.
- Select the Digital Signage Manager module using the drop-down menu in the top right of the screen:
- Select STB Client Errors from the options menu on the right side of the screen.
An example of the STB Client Errors screen is displayed below: - Either:
- Click Delete All Errors to remove all entries from the list.
or - Click to print a hard copy of errors.
- Click Delete All Errors to remove all entries from the list.
