Use the Enquiry Required Fields option to set the fields that you require users to fill before saving a new applicant enquiry into iSAMS. This is useful should you wish certain fields, such as Forename and Surname, to be completed across all new applicant records.
To set required fields for the Enquiry tab, follow the steps below:
- In the Admissions module, select the Configuration tab.
- Select Enquiry Required Fields from the menu to the right of the screen.
The Enquiry Required Fields screen is displayed: - Use the drop down lists to choose whether the following fields are required in the Basic and Advanced tabs before saving a new applicant record:
- Forename.
- Surname.
- Gender.
- Admissions Status.
- Boarding Status.
- Preferred Name.
- Click Save Configuration when finished. To revert to previously saved settings, click Reload Configuration.
